Security Tip

To safeguard your personal information, whenever you access Internet Banking from a computer that is not your own, make sure you properly exit Internet Banking and return to the home page or close the browser before you leave. This prevents anyone else from seeing your account information.

Go Green by enrolling in paper statement suppression. Enroll through our Internet Banking website. Any member that successfully enrolls for e-Statements will have $5.00 deposited into their share account.  Once signed into your account, a "view electronic statement" option will be available to you on the upper right hand side of your screen. Visa Debit Card Fraud is becoming the number one source of Identity Theft in the United States of America. To help prevent any fraud related to your debit card that accesses your checking account, please take a few moments to register your card with Visa at the following link -

Verified by Visa (VBV) is now available to all members that have a debit card with the Jacksonville Firemen's Credit Union. 

 Cardholders will be able to access the Visa website to enroll or immediately obtain information on the VbV product. This will also be the date that cardholders will be presented with the activation on the fly pop-ups when making a purchase online at a participating VbV merchants. Please keep in mind that some merchants are slower than others in updating their BIN listings, so some cardholders may not immediately be presented with the AOF screens.

 

If you should need assistance, cardholders should call 866-707-6819. This support will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This number will be the primary number if you are having difficulty with enrollment or other support issues.

Beginning August 15, 2010, your debit card purchases and ATM withdrawals will be denied if you do not have sufficient available funds in your Overdraft Account (ie. Savings, Checking, etc.). In order to alleviate any of these items being returned for Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) please contact a member services representative to OPT-IN to our Member Privilege Program. If you do not OPT-IN to our Member Privilege Program or we do not receive a response from you beginning 08/15/10 we will not authorize your everyday debit card purchases or ATM drafts from your checking account. Please contact a member service representative on or after August 15, 2010 for more information regarding our Member Privilege Program.
