The newest scheme "zeusbot" is bypassing many anti-virus and malware scanning software used by credit union members.The zuesbot waits for the user to log in to their online banking, logs the credentials, and then offers a screen that asks the user to further verify their login by entering their credit card data. All information gathered is sent to the attackers. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION!!! The Jacksonville Firemen's Credit Union will never ask for a User ID or Password for online activation. If you receive any suspicious emails, please contact a member service representative immediately.

A payment will not be treated as late for any purpose if received within 21 days after the statement is mailed or delivered. Please call member services for any questions.

Visa Debit Card Fraud is becoming the number one source of Identity Theft in the United States of America. To help prevent any fraud related to your debit card that accesses your checking account, please take a few moments to register your card with Visa at the following link -

Verified by Visa (VBV) is now available to all members that have a debit card with the Jacksonville Firemen's Credit Union.

Cardholders will be able to access the Visa website to enroll or immediately obtain information on the VbV product. This will also be the date that cardholders will be presented with the activation on the fly pop-ups when making a purchase online at a participating VbV merchants. Please keep in mind that some merchants are slower than others in updating their BIN listings, so some cardholders may not immediately be presented with the AOF screens.

If you should need assistance, cardholders should call 866-707-6819. This support will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This number will be the primary number if you are having difficulty with enrollment or other support issues.

NOTIFICATION THAT NEGATIVE INFORMATION WILL BE OR HAS BEEN SENT TO CREDIT BUREAUS.ANY FINANCIAL INSTITUTION THAT SUBMITS NEGATIVE INFORMATION TO NATIONAL CREDIT REPORTING AGENCIES MUST GIVE CONSUMERS ONE-TIME WRITTEN NOTICE THAT THEY HAVE DONE SO OR WILL DO SO.

THIS MEANS THAT THE JFCU WILL REPORT NEGATIVE INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR ACCOUNT IF SUCH NEGATIVE INFORMATION BECOMES RELEVANT TO YOUR ACCOUNT(S)
